It is a powerful movie, isn't it? After seeing it, I thought about how H.R. should be a mandatory film to show in High School history classes. This sort of thing should not have been ignored and it should never be forgotten.
Posted by timsamoff at February 22, 2005 11:34 AMIt seems almost coincidental that the US was involved in a war during the Cambodian genocide and now this while we have been in Iraq. I wonder if other countries sometimes wait for the US military to be overextended before doing atrocious acts? Regardless, I am anxious to see this film.
Posted by OMS I in FL at February 22, 2005 12:37 PMTim: I completely agree. In fact, on the H.R. website, there are materials for high school teachers for this very reason. I'm glad somebody made this film - it HAD to be made.
Marty: That's a very good point. Wasn't Clinton dealing with Bosnia/Serbia when the Rwandan genocide occurred?
